We don’t believe in institutional food. Meals are home-cooked, nutritionally balanced and tailored to each resident’s preferences and needs, including diabetic-friendly options, renal diets and low-sodium meals.
Residents receive three full meals and two to three snacks per day. Presentation matters; meals look good and taste even better. Families often comment that “this doesn’t look like an adult family home”—and we take that as a compliment.
We maintain a consistent one-to-three caregiver-to-resident ratio, allowing our team to give every resident attentive, individualized care and to notice changes in health quickly.
Caregivers are trained, background-checked and introduced to residents before they begin work. We coordinate closely with doctors, home-health agencies, physical therapists and hospice nurses and keep families fully informed.
Evergreen Haven is fully licensed by the Washington State Department of Social & Health Services (DSHS) as an Adult Family Home.
We maintain detailed care records, follow all WAC codes and consistently pass inspections.

Rates depend on the room and care level. Pricing is transparent and never raised mid-year; no hidden “tiered add-ons.”
